Browser Cookies are essential to the use of your website because they are needed to remember that you are logged in. When your login credential is verified (when you login), an encrypted value is returned to your browser. This same value is then sent back to the server with each page access so that the server can associate your page request with your account. If cookies are completely blocked the website will never consider you logged in once you leave the login page.
