SyncLockStatus pop-up notifications not displayed when opening a file via UNC path as a different user
SyncLockStatus displays pop-up notifications for locks encountered by the logged in user that has launched the application. Assume you open Windows Explorer and connect to \\ServerA\FileShare. If you do not have permissions as the user you're logged into the machine as, Windows will prompt you to provide a different credential. When you do so, the file accesses on that share are performed as that different user account. This means the locks on those files are encountered as that user and not the one that you're logged into the machine as. In this instance, you will not get pop-up messages for the locks in SyncLockStatus.
